DARK HOURS IN PARIS
Another recommendation, if you happen to be in Paris this summer. Sorry, I can not help it but keep stumbling upon new nice exhibitions in Paris.
This time at Musée Maillol, Vanités. Vanités or vanities in English is a term referred to art that represents death. So reveling that Damien Hirst is one of the main artist of the more then 150 art pieces shown during the exhibition is not a surprise. Check out the website of the exhibition and prepare yourself for a couple of dark hours in Paris.

EPIC SUMMER: ONE TO REMEMBER
Last month we received some interesting, beautiful and crazy pictures, all from people that experienced their Epic Summer on their own special way. Therefore, it was not that easy to choose a winner, but we managed!
Raphael from Brazil has taken a beautiful and mysterious picture in his own home country and won a 3 night stay at Fontana Park in Portugal. His words:” Nothing as paradisiac beach with a remarkable sunset to help you put your ideas in order and plan ahead for the challenges to come. This sunset is a reminder of that.”

Do you dream to go to Brasil and experience your own Epic Summer?? Visit our amazing hotel in Sao Paulo, Hotel Unique, before you head to one of these paradise beaches!

VISIT ROME AND AVOID THE TOURISTS
Thank ‘God’! After wandering around through Rome for three days, visiting all the main sites and getting annoyed by the many many tourist. I finally discovered a street that is not packed with tourist shops and therefore interesting, it gave me a feeling of walking through a street in SOHO.
Via Del Governo Vecchio is around the corner of Piazza Navona and has a good combination of Vintage, individual designers, and nice small cafes/restaurants.
We sat at a nice small cafe with purple chairs (forgot the name, but the chairs can’t be missed), nice simple food and lunch place for many Italians working in this street.

Milan Corso Como
And also Italy got a visit by us. Traveling as a Nomad from Milan to Florence and later to Rome we could spot some nice things for you to do when traveling to these cities.
Just around the corner of Maison Moschino is Corso Como a small street with some nice shops and filled with terraces to enjoy watching all the fashionable people that wander through the streets. 10 Corso Como sells many high end fashion brands, the shop and their nice terrace is a bit hidden, but enough ‘Milano’ citizens know to find this shop! Also the High-Tech store is worth a visit. An interior shop that is a small labyrinth of rooms full with furniture, cookery products and much more lifestyle products.

St. Tropez
Just got back from a fantastic week in St. Tropez staying at La Reserve, Ramatuelle and The Kube and wanted to share some highlights from the trip…
Le Club 55 is the ultimate St. Trop beach club… Go for the afternoon (don´t plan on leaving for at least 4 hours) and enjoy one of their signature panniers (a piece of wood filled with vegetables), fantastic steak tartare and a bottle (or 3) of rosé. Just be sure to make a reservation unless your name happens to be Bardot or Gainsbourg…

For breakfast, go to La Tarte Tropezienne also on the Place del Lices for great people watching and croissants…

If your wallet is hurting, skip a fancy lunch one afternoon and grab a roasted chicken from the poulet roti guy off of the Place des Lices and a few beers and head up to the town´s citadelle (the highest point in the area) for a picnic.

A view across the gulf…
